MANAGEMENT NAMED FOR $44 MILLION PROJECT

S.L. Leonard & Associates will manage the design and construction of the Working Artists Ventura (WAV) development. The new Ventura community will feature a mix of affordable and market-rate residential units, commercial space and a 200-seat amphitheater.

The development will serve as a community for artists, offering living and working spaces, as well as housing arts-friendly businesses. Commercial tenants will include galleries, coffee houses, restaurants and jazz clubs. The $44 million development will cover two acres and feature solar collecting technology.

The project is owned by Projects Linking Art, Community & Environment, a nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis.

S.L. Leonard & Associates is a development project management firm that is also working on the construction of the Camarillo Public Library.

The firm recently completed work on the California Endowment Offices and Community Conference and Resource Center.
