Project Description

Since 2010, SLL has worked with Century Villages at Cabrillo, assisting with and helping to implement its Master Plan for the 26-acre residential campus established on a former US Naval housing site. Multiple projects included building Cabrillo Gateway, 81 units of permanent housing for formerly homeless families and individuals, and Anchor Place, 120 units of permanent housing for formerly homeless veterans and families; development of a new maintenance building; installation of parking lot solar shade structures and mitigating land use issues. SLL also renovated the social hall, career center, offices, restrooms and lobby and additionally, improved the campus roadways to accommodate a new bus line.

  • Procured all design and construction services on behalf of Client.
  • Assisted with and implemented master plan.
  • Participated in budget and schedule creation and management.
  • Provided project management during entitlement, design, construction and occupancy phases.

The SLL team brings a level of sophistication, knowledge and expertise to our development. Century Villages at Cabrillo is a 26-acre campus with several complex projects. As the owner’s representative and construction managers, we engaged SLL early, starting with having them develop the RFQ for the architects. We have written the SLL team into a number of other projects as well. They are very capable and competent.
